Announcing our second Policy Leadership Cohort
We are excited to announce the launch of our second Policy Leadership Cohort!

After nearly four years, we are winding down the Policy Leadership Initiative.
The initiative emerged from a tension I had experienced over more than a decade working on digital policy in Brussels: those most impacted by tech-facilitated harms are too often absent from the rooms where decisions are made.

We are excited to announce the launch of our second Policy Leadership Cohort!

After hearing from a wide range of policy practitioners from Europe and around the world at all stages in their policy journeys, in the course of the Open Call for our Inaugural Policy Leadership Cohort, we are excited to announce the launch of our first Policy Leadership Cohorts.

Our inaugural Digital Policy Leadership Summit took place in Brussels 15-16 February. The event was both inspiring and affirming, and served as a springboard to accelerate the Policy Leadership program we will prototype with this emergent community and our inspiring group of advisors.

Over the last couple of years, I worked on setting the building blocks for Aspiration's emerging Facilitative Leadership Program. Facilitative leadership means leading in ways that helps others claim their own power, agency and leadership. At Aspiration, I learned that supporting and investing in the leadership of others is key to strengthening our movements for justice. As such, the Facilitative Leadership Program centers on creating collaborative peer-learning cohorts for emerging leaders to connect, share practices, and strengthen their own facilitative leadership skills.
